My Review: Frostbite

Frostbite (Vampire Academy Series #2)Frostbite by Richelle Mead

Synopsis

Rose loves Dimitri, Dimitri might love Tasha, and Mason would die to be with Rose… It’s winter break at St. Vladimir’s, but Rose is feeling anything but festive. A massive Strigoi attack has put the school on high alert, and now the Academy’s crawling with Guardians—including Rose’s hard-hitting mother, Janine Hathaway. And if hand to- hand combat with her mom wasn’t bad enough, Rose’s tutor Dimitri has his eye on someone else, her friend Mason’s got a huge crush on her, and Rose keeps getting stuck in Lissa’s head while she’s making out with her boyfriend, Christian! The Strigoi are closing in, and the Academy’s not taking any risks….This year, St. Vlad’s annual holiday ski trip is mandatory. But the glittering winter landscape and the posh Idaho resort only create the illusion of safety. When three friends run away in an offensive move against the deadly Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them. But heroism rarely comes without a price…

My rating: 4 stars

Richelle Mead did it again. What a awesome book. The characters are really brought to life. This book has a lot more action then Vampire Academy and Rose has grown some with this book she is not as irresponsible. If your looking for a an action packed, emotional roller coaster ride you should read this book.

Just Nook It!  Theresa

  2. I love vampire academy too! You should read the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead, it's emotional roller coaster as well as lots of action. I've read all of her series now and sad to see them come to an end :(

  3. I really do love Richelle Mead. She is an extremely gifted and talented author and I really enjoyed the fact that she made Rose so kickass strong, but with all of the normal flaws that someone her age would have. It totally made her much more relatable than some character's I've read before.

Plus, I've been dying to delve into her adult series as well, because I've heard great things about that.

Your blog is really kind of nifty and awesome, so yes I'll definitely be following you because we totally have things in common. :)
