This week's question is:
Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.
I really don't have anyone in person to talk books about. Most of my friends think I'm crazy beacause I read so much. I talk books with my friends on the computer that I have met through different book clubs/blogs. Sometime my DIL and I will read a book that we share in common and we can talk about it.
Please leave a comment and follow I will follow back.
Just Nook It! Theresa
It's tough to find people that love reading as much as we do. I am lucky to have a few people (book club, my sister, and a friend). Old follwer hopping by. Happy reading and weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, I just found your site through Parajunkee's FF and I love it! The graphics you have are so cool :) New follower here...
ReplyDeleteI am pretty much the same, I don't really have anyone close, like family or friends to talk books with, but I am a librarian so there are many people at work who do share my love for reading, this is my outlet for "book chat" when I'm not blogging with all my wonderful book-blogger friends :)
Feel free to check out my FF for this week at LC's Adventures in Libraryland
Happy reading!
Ah I guess I do have one person I can talk to about books in real life I wasn't thinking about... my step-daughter. However, we only read a few of the same books, so it's only sometimes!

I have a few people I can talk books with IRL, but most of them aren't as avid readers as I am. That's why I love the book blogging world. It's a lot of fun to talk to others who reads as much as or more than I do. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you for stopping by! :) I'm following you back! Really nice blog.
ReplyDeleteI waited long to get my Kindle too, but I'm completely in love with it now. (Duh! Blog name. ;)
It's kind of sad not having someone IRL to talk to. I sure know how it is being seen as crazy for reading too much though! People just haven't discovered the wonderful world of books. ;)

Even though I did get one of my BFFs into the UF genre, she's still easing into it. Plus I'm a big time avid reader, so not many of my friends can say the same. So I really don't have a whole lot of people to talk to about the books I read. Thank goodness for the blogging world!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday Hops
Have a GREAT weekend!

I am very glad we are now mutual followers
ReplyDeleteHello! New follower here. It seems to be pretty common that bookish friends are few in real life. I only have one that I seriously talk books with. My family certainly didn't get why I read so much!

ReplyDeleteReading Lark's Book Blogger Hop & Follow Friday
Hopping through. I haven't found many IRL book friends either. My family reads some of the books I like, but since I read mostly YA and they read thrillers, we don't have much in common.
